Last night, at Birdland, Andrew Rannells sang a little-known Sondheim song from the film Dick Tracy called “What Can You Lose?” In an interview after his performance, Andrew mentioned that he personally pitched the song to the event organizers.

This is a video of Gavin Creel in January 2011, performing “What Can You Lose?” In this video, Gavin mentions that “What Can You Lose?” is his “favourite Sondheim song ever written.”
